1961–1965 studied drawing, color and textiles at the Basel School of Design. Graduation with Swiss diploma for education.

1975–2001 professor for color and textile design at the Basel School of Design.

Creates patchwork-quilts since 1976.

Exhibits frequently in Switzerland and abroad.
